Burr & Burton Bulldogs, St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers, and Middlebury Tigers are all at 3-0. I have recently gone to Rutland High School Alumni Field to see the Rutland Raiders. The offense seems dynamic this year for the Raisers. Scoring a total of 64 points against CVU in their opener season. Scoring a total or 31 in their second game of the season against St. Johnsbury. They scored 22 in their last game against Burlington. This leaves the Raiders in fourth place in division one football. I have gone to every game the Raiders have played because my cousin Matthew plays linebacker for this team. It has been exciting to see the atmosphere grow as the excitement of the game is evident. So if you get a chance make sure you get out there and support your local team.
