Hopefully some of you were able to get out and support your teams and catch a little Friday Night Frenzy action! I caught the Rutland Raider, Hartford Hurricane game on NSN. Thank goodness you can always watch these games on NSN if you can't get there. The Hartford Hurricanes had a chance to get to 3 and 1 in the season, but were challenged by the defense of the Rutland Raiders. The Raiders were up to the task on the defensive side of the ball, even though Hartford started with a safety to begin the game. A safety is when the quarterback is tackled in the end-zone which results in the team who tackled the quarterback gets 2 points on the scoreboard, and possession of the ball.
The Raider's offense also was awake as they scored on a total 4 straight possessions leading Rutland to a 21-13 victory over the Hurricanes. Even with a loss, the Hurricanes are ranked at 3rd place and Rutland remains in 8th.
