Opening Day of 2018 Girl's Soccer Season

The Stowe Raiders with a young and up and coming team hosted the Middlebury Tigers. The Tigers were ranked #2 in Division One. The ice was broken early by a goal by Stowe early in the first half, and Middlebury's goal tally was off a penalty kick. The Raiders were able to score one more goal to secure the victory on a perfectly placed corner shot. It was a really good way to start with the adversity of starting the season playing with such a young team playing against a Division One opponent. The Raiders go on the road to face the Burlington Seahorses today at 3:00 PM. I will update about this Thursday on my radio show at 11:45 AM.
