Here are the VPA standings for girls lacrosse division 1 and 2 so far this season.
Division 1:
Holding first place is the Middlebury Tigers, ranked first with 3 wins and 0 losses.
Holding Second place is Burnts Hills High with 1 and 0.
In third we have the MMU cougars with 1 and 0.
Division 2:
Hartford Hurricanes placed first with 1 win and 0 losses.
Placed second are the Saint Johnsbury HIlltoppers with 1 win and 0 losses.
In third we have Mt. Greylock with 0 wins and 1 loss.
This may sound strange, but with very few games played a loss is ranked to teams who have less games per season depending on weather conditions. 15 games per team per season is a high school requirement.
