In the game of lacrosse there must be 10 players on the field for each team. 4 players must be on offensive side of the field and the other 4 teammates in the defensive side, while 2 players can go anywhere. A typical game in girls lacrosse is timed by 2-25 minute halves while for boys lacrosse, there are 4 quarters that are timed 12 minutes long. Teams are allowed 2 timeouts per game but that's only after a team scores a goal.
