The Stowe Raiders got off to an early lead with a goal by Leo Clark early in the first period. With another goal following up one minute later. Many more goals followed, with four goals at the end of the first period and another five goals in the second period. Over all it was quite a statement for the Raiders to come away with such a big goal margin. This performance shows there ability to be a strong force during the playoffs. The Raiders improved to six and one. The Raiders have an even bigger test coming up when they face off against the Woodstock Wasps on Wednesday, January 31st 2018! We will see how they respond after suffering their only loss of the season to Woodstock. The Wasps now sit in third place in the Vermont Principals Association standings for the girls division two, ice hokey. I will keep you posted on this match up and others throughout the playoffs.
